the first part of Season 7 is now on tribble.

stf reward system revamp the old system is being remouved the new system is a branch of the reputation system all stf tech(edc,salvage,tech) being replaced by omaga marks and Borg Neural Processors you will recieve omega marks based on your stf accolades any borg tech in your inventory will be converted to omega marks,dilithium and Borg Neural Processors(granted as a box that cant be opened till reaching tier 5 of the omega reputation system) conversion rate will be announced soon dilithium rewards for stf's lowered(240 normal, 480 elite) omega marks(20 normal, 60 elite) =25% bonus objective borg neural processor 1 on elite borg neural processor>dilithium tier 1 (maby tier 0) 5 NP>1000 di omega>dilithium conversion tier 5 required (50 marks = 500 di)
borg set change borg set is now a 3 peace set 2 piece bonus regen sequencer 3 piece bonus multi regen shild and assimilated tractor mk X,XI,XII versions available if you have the set now it will convert to a mkXI and keep the same stats it has now
new borg set borg console kinetic cutting beam unique can only equip one 360 degree firing arc can mount aft -8 weapons power when firing other weapons to target activates cutting beam mode(decreases resistance to torpedoes??) this is a fairly nice weapon does decent damage and scales with weapons power and energy weapons skill. dosnt have the burst damage capability of torpedoes but does more dps than a unbuffed mkxii quantum torp (quantum 603 dps, cutting beam 766 dps 125 weapons power) it does KINETIC damage and will not do damage against shilds(23 to shilds 700 to hull). its main advantage is that it can be used as a aft weapon and fire forwards. also it fires constantly(4sec firing cycle 1 sec cd) so you will hit when the shields are down. it can not be buffed by beam abilities. the only abilities that effect it are ones that boost all damage or reduce a targets resistance. this is not a replacement for a torpedo but a good alternative for a turret. omega torpedo (mini unimatrix torpedo)
set bonus two piece 2.5% chance +10 weapons power +500 weapons power resistance +500 weapons power max resistance lasts 5 sec three piece chance drastically decrease for 1 sec(this is the exact description)
for those that are running the 3/borg with a different shield it will no longer work as the console is no longer part of the same set (this was a unintended use for the borg set that created a very powerful combination)

azure nebula rescue 5 man there are 4 asteroids that spawn a random romulan ship stuck in tractors and a gard group of tholians there 4 possible combinations bop guarded by small group orb weaver ( one average pilot can handle) mogai guarded by medium size fleet 1 recluse (one good pilot can handle i recommend 2 ships) d'deridex guarded by a large fleet 2 recluse (one good pilot has a good chance of handling this one, i recommend 2-3 ships for this one, i has able to handle this group flying a fleet saber) scimitar guarded by a massive fleet including one of these (no less than three ships should attempt this till you learn the enemy's tricks, the first ship to draw the dreadnoughts attention will be dead if you are not prepared or a tank, dreadnought has subspace snare) each group has multiple smaller ships including orb weavers and fighters (difficulty has been increased) objective save as many ships as possible in 12 min larger ships are worth more points you can tell from a distance what the ship is they are labeled 1,2,3,5 for size and reward, also the numbers are a good reference as to how many ships to send in (a tank and a escort should be able to handle most of them as long as the tank draws the fire) vault: ensnared 5 man stage 1 rescue as many ships from the tholians as you can(they are spaced evenly around the vault Stage 2 stop the tholian vault weaver's from weaving a web around the vault(timed: keep the web from completing before the timer runs out) Stage 3 defend against tholian attack including 2 dreadnoughts(one is a flag ship) and supporting ships watch out tholians make big boom(recluse took out my fleet saber at 1k when i killed it) also for those that have not yet fought the tholians in the fleet missions be prepared for lots of surprises (tholian webs of multiple variations, their torpedoes drain weapon and engine power, they can disable subsystems...)

the embassy will give us access to the exchange the bank the mail direct access to the personnel officer(doff recruitment,reassignment) a shuttle to access the fleet base and other holdings a large conference room a very nice office with a desk for the fleet admiral and his second in command

an entirely new sector block including 3 sectors new red alert new patrol missions some of them non combat
New Romulus a new adventure zone includes a round of repeatable daily missions that can be completed through combat or noncombat some 5min timed area wide missions that pop up at random and are completed by everyone in the area new areas are unlocked as you rank your Romulan reputation new scan minigame hidden accolades you will only know what they are when you stumble on to them (EX this one i got "to boldly jump" jump off a bridge, i wont say which one)
Just to clear up something so that its not confusing. the shimmering lights around new Romulus are Intense auroras caused by high levels of solar radiation ( many people including myself have mistaken it for the atmosphere being stripped away). at least thats what the dev that put it in calls it. It makes more sense than the atmosphere being stripped away(the romulans would not be very smart settle on a planet that was loosing its atmosphere)
to get to Tau Dewa fast transwarp to the fleet starbase and use the transwarp gate to transwarp to the gateway system, which puts you about 1 lightyear from the border of tau dawa

Admiral Gogeta asked my asked me what i thought of the new system.
First of ill say that in my opinion the old stf system was flawed in more ways than just the drop rate. you could get endgame equipment for very little cost. For one run you can get a weapon or a set peace or both and sometimes multiple. where the other endgame equipment costs 10k di +20k fleet creds for fleet and 20-30k for dilithium store equipment. plus on top of that i can run 3-4 stf's and be maxed out on dilithium for 1-2 days from the loot. I have gotten 2 days worth from one run before (2 proto shild and 6 proto salvage on a bonus Wednesday)
I think the new system is better for the fact that you now can choose between weapons of approximately the same value. so you are more inclined to buy the fleet weapons for the extra damage or some of the new romulan weapons rather than just running the borg for everything.
For set pieces and any other one off piece of gear like the hangars you run a project that gives it to you for completing it. so you start a project fill the resource requirements(just like the fleet system) wait till project completes then collect the rewards.
took me a week to reach tier 1 two to reach tier 2. tier 5 will take aproximetly 2 months(59.5 days)
new info from a priority one interview with Content Designer Chris Dods. no dilithium cost for advancing the rep system. just for buying equipment. new reps on the way(defferi,tholian,cardasian,pvp)

This is to show what you unlock so you have a better overall picture of the system. the first skills unlocked give you a choice between two passive abilities while the 5th is a very powerful activate able (god) ability.
fighters i will label as standard for equivalent to ec bought fighter, advanced for dilithium equivalent and experimental for the next level up.this is because of the varying quality levels of fighters (the stalkers being +1 on quality for the same level)

Every ship need's them no exceptions!!! well maby not need but they will be very handy for any ship
I picked up this one for my escort [Console - Science - Shield-Repairing Weapon Signature Nullifier Mk X [StealM] [SHeal] [ThreatR]] decreases threat by 56.2% +28.1 starship stealth when reciving damage 2.5% chance to restore 225.2 shileds to each facing facing
KASE with that console i was able to give threat away (3 dual cannons borg mkxii, 1 quad cannon, 4 mxi blue phaser relays,2 turrets, the rainbow dreadnought took threat from me) even taking on Donatra i was able to close to 4k and fire off all tac abilities including APB and fire my point defense turret/rapid fire 3 and still didn't take threat.
after charging in first and hitting the tac cube for 5 sec before anyone else started shooting the cube targeted someone else within 3 more sec.
i chose stelth because the shield emitter one wasn't there yet there are 150 of these consoles there are a few missing/copies that are yet to be fixed on tribble, the only sci console that isnt available is the field gen so if you want the extra shiled strength you will have to compromise with this console, and with the increased threat version which starts at over 100% increase it will better allow you to put those field gens to use on a cruiser.
a fleet star cruiser with one threat console (and 7 threat skill) still needs high weapons power to effectively draw fire a second console and full threat control should fix the problem setup is for a regent designed for dps/tank so its probably not the best for the star cruiser but helps bring the dps up enough to draw fire

do to rumors started on the tribble forums that you would be double paying for sets. i wanted to clear up how you will receive rewards in the rep system.
For generic items like assault weapons you run a store unlock assignment that will unlock the catagory. assignment: unlock Romulan assault weapon unlocks the assault weapons category in the store the assignment does not require dilithium but the weapons do once the project is complete you can buy a unlimited number of those weapons.
the other type of project is a requisition assignment assignment: requisition kinetic cutting beam once assignment is complete you will get a claim reward button on it that puts "kinetic cutting beam" in your inventory this is the same for all set peaces including maco/omega/honoegard/reman/romulan... and for the fighter hangar
there are two ex projecs one gives 2000 the second gives 800.
xp projects take 40 hours to complete store unlocks/requsition takes 2 hours upgrade projects take 1 hour and wait for you to claim rewards
final pricing is being re evaluated so costs can still change before launch this month

Updated requirements for Fleet Starbase projects.
Replaced all Gamma Quadrant commodities, turrets and weapon platform requirements with standard commodity requirements. Replaced rare food/drink items from Bartender and Chef unlock projects with standard Food/Drink inputs. Reduced all Duty Officer input requirements on Fleet Starbase Projects If a project previously required only White duty officers, the number required has been decreased . If a project previously required a specific Specialization, it generally now requires a Department instead. All Green, Blue and Purple quality requirements on Duty Officers were reduced to White quality requirements. These changes in quality and relative value haves led to many requirements increasing in number of items required, but not in overall cost. For all of the above changes: Projects already in progress, with the Duration Timer counting down, will be unaffected by the above changes. If you have already input items into any of the affected requirement fields, you will not lose your ongoing progress or any Fleet Credit you earned by doing so. If a requirement field was previously filled and now requires a higher number of inputs, it will no longer be filled unless the project has already begun its duration timer. If a requirement field was previously partially-filled and now requires fewer inputs, causing it to fill, this will require the Project's duration timer to begin if it was the last remaining incomplete requirement.

i had 1 rare borg shild tech 6 rare salvage 1 proto salvage 25 edc's equivalent to 11000 di
i got in a box openable at tier 3 omega rep 1500 omega marks 7 np 1000 dilithium equivalent to 17000 di after tier 5, 2000 at tier 3 upon opening
dilithium value increased but equipment value decreased
from reports iv seen on tts it seems there are diminishing returns on the conversion i dont remember exact numbers but the di values where approximately (80k before, 37k after)
note:values might change, conversion seems to be broken at moment 2 chars with different amounts of tech salvage gave same rewards
